Butter Braid is here and ready to be picked up! Please form a line on the east side of the building in the bus lane!

We will still distribute our Butter Braid Bread at 3:15 Please pull through the bus lane on 1st street to pick up your orders. Due to the power outage we cannot store your items and they need to be placed in the freezer in 2-3 hours of pick up.

We have had a power outage at Horace Mann. We will be without power for 3-4 hours. We are feeding the children lunch right now. School is being released. Parents may pick their children up now. Buses are not running until normal time.

Butter Braid Bread will be delivered to Horace Mann today at 3:15. Please plan to pick your orders up after school today! Product will need to be returned to your freezer within 2 to 3 hours. Enter the school through the front doors. Thank you for your help with our fundraiser!

Dear Horace Mann Families,

As we anticipate the suspension of SNAP benefits on November 1, 2025, I want to share a resource available to our students. The Regional Food Bank offers a program called "Backpack for Kids." Every Friday, students enrolled in this program receive a sack filled with nonperishable food items to take home. The contents typically include kid-friendly options as well as some canned goods.

If you are experiencing food insecurity at home and would like your child to participate in this program, please reach out to me by the Woodward App, school phone, or email at alnelson@woodwardps.net. The identities of those participating in this program remain confidential.
