Getting ready for back-to-school doesn’t have to happen all at once. School supply lists are now available, making it easy to pick up a few items throughout the summer and avoid the August rush.
A little at a time can make back-to-school shopping much less overwhelming.

📅 2026–2027 School Calendar Update
Woodward Public Schools has approved two schedule changes for the 2026–2027 school year for our elementary campuses:
🕒 Elementary start and end times have been adjusted by 15 minutes
• Doors Open: 7:45 AM
• School Begins: 8:15 AM
• School Ends: 3:15 PM
No Early Release Mondays
Elementary students will now attend a full school day every Monday.
**Awards Assemblies **
Dear Parents,
This is a reminder that our Academic Awards Assembly for Second Grade students is today at 1:30 PM. Tomorrow, Wednesday, we will hold a Fourth Grade Graduation Ceremony at 9:00 AM, where all students will receive an award. Additionally, the Third Grade Academic Awards will take place tomorrow at 1:30 PM.

Tomorrow marks the start of our state testing! 3rd and 4th-grade students will begin with the English Language Arts (ELA) Section 1 tomorrow morning. Stride Bank will provide Bacon, Egg, and Cheese McGriddles for breakfast. If your child does not like McGriddles, please ensure they have breakfast at home. On Day 2, breakfast will be breakfast pizza, and on Day 3, it will be a sausage, egg, and cheese biscuit!
We will continue with ELA Section 2 on Wednesday morning, followed by Math Sections 1 and 2 on Thursday.

As you plan vacations and trips for the 2026–2027 school year, we encourage families to take a look at the school calendar and plan around breaks and holidays when possible. Note: The first day of school for students is Thursday, August 13.
